Is it Friday Yet?
This morning my friend apparently passed out lol. She had text me saying she didn’t get to bed till 3 am because she drove down from where she lives. It IS a 6 hour drive, it is a valid excuse, I told her get some sleep. IMO sleep trumps exercise!
While my friend was snoozing, I got up, ate breakfast, took my car for an oil change, scheduled the 90k service for this weekend, made dinner (chicken and zucchini with onions and chiles for tacos tonight!), did some laundry, and so on.
Never heard from my dad, kind of frustrating because I have no way to contact him, he constantly changes his cell number, so I’m given up on that, let’s see how long he takes before he remembers “oh yeah, my daughter, told her I’d take her out for her birthday…” I’m gonna guilt him now! lol
Hair appointment is scheduled, my hair is so long now, I want something CUTE done with it! I’ve been growing it out and cutting it like a mix up between Khloe Kardashian and Mila Kunis. I know hubby loves long hair, so I’ve been growing it out to be sexy for MY MAN!
I said that in a ghetto voice lol.
So tomorrow my friend and I are going to work out- she promised we would! Oh and even hubby is on the bandwagon, this Sunday him and I are going for a jog/walk, he says he knows he can’t just not exercise cuz “it’s hard” so I’m proud of him
He’s also been doing well with his fruits and veggies: cuties and apples with his lunch, and usually he has a cutie or two when he gets home. I always encourage him to eat any veggies. I know he likes celery so anytime I make a veggie plate I ALWAYS have celery for him, and I notice over time he’ll sample from the other veggies as well (haha that’s my ulterior motive). It’s funny, he’s my hubby, but I have to almost treat him like a kid when it comes to fruits and veggies, but of course he’s gotten really good at eating them more on his own, AND asking for them. This week he even asked to eat yogurt with his lunch- after I woke up from fainting, I bought some
Anyways, got to go to work! Have a fabulous day everyone!

Have a great time with your friend. Good for your hubby wanting to exercise, too! That makes it cute when it’s something that you can do together – the healthy little couple.
Have a great weekend!

You seem all perky and happy. I like the joking and happy you!
Mmmm, I really love celery, and don’t like to run out of it at all. I can’t imagine being one of those people who don’t like vegetables. There are so many of them and they are all so tasty!

Sorry about your dad not calling; I know you sound okay about it, but that’s because you are a loving daughter and a good person. He’s lucky to have you as his daughter.
Too funny on the vegetables and your hubby. Next thing you’ll be adding shredded carrots to your chili (my favorite way to add in extra vegetables).

TBH I am a little annoyed with him. Seriously I guess being first born means NOTHING to the man? :p
Carrots in chili- I must try!

Neither my bf or I are veg lovers – my mom didn’t like them & so I had limited variety of them as a kid, and bf’s mom was of the boiling-to-death school of veggie prep – so we still have a ways to go. Good for your hub getting more fruits in his diet.
