I am miserable. I have been hit with the flu since Friday.
And it was strange, cuz I was REALLY fighting it, and today was when it hit it’s peak. In fact, Sunday, I thought I was fine! Then I woke up Monday, and just grabbing my phone to call in sick was so difficult, my head was spinning when I was done.
So then today, I just got worse and worse, now my nose is stuffed, I’m sneezing over and over, I have a headache, body aches (again), fever (again), I’m vomiting, and so on.
I feel bad because I just started my new job, but thankfully both my bosses are very understanding and said please don’t come back in until you are well. Which I am very willing to oblige! I am sure I got that nasty flu that has been going around The one they said that even the flu shot couldn’t stop this terrible strain going around
Anyways, let’s talk about exercise: Non-existent since Friday. And I was so proud of myself guys, I was walking more, I was taking the stairs EVERYWHERE, noticing a difference in my thighs already (whether imagined or not I didn’t care). Right now my exercise consists of getting up and going to the bathroom without falling over.
Food: Carbs, honey, and tea- oh my! Seriously, I have eaten chicken soup, black tea with honey and lemon, and white bread to help settle my stomach. I also ate some oranges today too. I’m scared to look at the scale TBH, I’m a person who usually gains when they are sick, which is frustrating to say the least
So that’s it for now, I’m just working on getting better so I can get back to the healthy eating, exercising, and the job!
