So while I am over the flu, something is up, I think it’s TOM. Yesterday I got up, had an okay day, watched the half-time show, and by the evening I had a terrible headache and felt like crap. I went to sleep at 9 pm! I thought my head would stop hurting if I went to sleep. I even took pills, when I woke up, terrible headache. I literally stumbled around to get ready for work, and walking out the door I felt terribly nauseous and ended up running back to the bathroom to vomit. It was pretty bad. I was like gee maybe I’m pregnant? NOPE.
Then I took more headache medicine and it went away, but the scale today showed 208. Which just made me mad.
I had some special K cereal and an orange for breakfast, lunch was a large salad with peppers, edamame, tuna, salad greens, some ranch (very little), mozzarella cheese, and cherry tomatoes. Dinner was some leftover white rice with meat, and a few homemade jalapeno poppers wrapped in cream cheese and bacon. I had three of these which turned out to be like 1.5 slices of bacon, 3 fresh jalapeno halves, and like 3 spoons of cream cheese. Probably the “worst” thing I ate all day besides a sugar free hot chocolate (60 calories) after dinner because my body was screaming for chocolate :p
I seem to do well over the week when it comes to food and then lose it on the weekend, eating out, snacking, etc. As well as the fact I’m SO tired. I now arrive at work at 7 am to beat traffic, and I leave at 4 and it takes me 45 minutes to get home. After which I cook dinner for the family cuz my mom doesn’t get home from school till 45 minutes later. I then help my mom with her hw, sometimes for an hour or so a night! Which doesn’t help, right now it’s just about 8 pm and I want to go to bed (which I am after this post).
I am not sure what to do to get some energy, I wish I could use the gym at work, but apparently I can’t because I’m considered a “temp” for up to a year! I’m going to try and see if I do have access to the showers at work, if I do, I might go for a half hour jog/walk during my lunch hour rather than sitting and chatting with the girls. At least a few times a week so that I get some movement going. I think the other problem is because I’m so tired I eat more.
I’m not sure what to do right now except to get more rest and try to figure out a way to encompass some more exercise in my life, because that will also probably help my energy level as well.
